This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the standards of conduct for all users of the Your Spaces platform. By using our platform, you agree to comply with this policy and our Terms of Service.
We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for hosts and guests. Violations of this policy may result in account suspension, termination, or legal action.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Your Spaces platform to:
2.1 Illegal Activities
- Engage in any illegal activity or promote illegal conduct
- Violate any local, state, national, or international law or regulation
- Use spaces for illegal purposes or activities
- Facilitate money laundering or terrorist financing
- Infringe on intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademark, or patent violations
2.2 Fraud and Deception
- Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information in your profile, listings, or communications
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim affiliation with any person or organization
- Create fake reviews, ratings, or testimonials
- Manipulate or game the review or rating system
- Engage in price manipulation, bid rigging, or other fraudulent booking practices
- Attempt to circumvent payment systems or fees
2.3 Abuse and Harassment
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, or bully other users or staff
- Engage in hate speech or promote violence, discrimination, or prejudice based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Post or share sexually explicit, obscene, or pornographic content
- Stalk or repeatedly contact users without consent
- Make unwanted sexual advances or engage in sexual harassment
2.4 Security Violations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or networks
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers
- Upload viruses, malware, or any malicious code that could harm the platform or other users
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's functionality, security, or integrity
- Conduct security testing without explicit authorization
- Share or publish other users' private information
2.5 Spam and Misuse
- Send unsolicited commercial messages, advertisements, or spam
- Post irrelevant, repetitive, or excessive content or listings
- Use the platform's messaging system for purposes other than legitimate booking inquiries
- Create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings, reviews, or search rankings
- Recruit or solicit users to join competing platforms or services
3. Host-Specific Guidelines
As a host, you must:
3.1 Listing Standards
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information about your space
- Use only real, unedited photos that accurately represent the current state of your space
- Clearly describe all amenities, rules, restrictions, and potential issues
- Not list spaces you do not own, manage, or have authorization to rent
- Ensure your space meets all applicable safety codes, zoning laws, and regulations
- Maintain current and valid business licenses, permits, and insurance
3.2 Guest Treatment
- Treat all guests with respect and without discrimination
- Respond to booking requests and messages in a timely manner
- Honor all confirmed bookings
- Provide the space and amenities exactly as described in your listing
- Maintain your space in a clean, safe, and working condition
- Respect guest privacy and not monitor or surveil guests without disclosure
3.3 Prohibited Host Actions
- Request payment or communication outside the platform before or during a booking
- Charge additional fees not disclosed in the listing
- Cancel confirmed bookings without valid reason
- Ask guests to leave positive reviews in exchange for refunds or benefits
- Retaliate against guests for leaving honest reviews
4. Guest-Specific Guidelines
As a guest, you must:
4.1 Booking Conduct
- Provide accurate information when making bookings
- Use spaces only for their intended and listed purposes
- Follow all house rules and guidelines set by the host
- Treat spaces with respect and care
- Report any damages or issues to the host immediately
- Leave spaces in the same condition you found them
4.2 Host Interactions
- Communicate respectfully with hosts
- Honor confirmed bookings and cancellation policies
- Notify hosts promptly if you'll be late or need to cancel
- Provide honest and constructive reviews
- Not bring unauthorized guests or exceed capacity limits
4.3 Prohibited Guest Actions
- Host parties or events without host permission
- Sublet or share spaces without authorization
- Attempt to book spaces for commercial purposes not disclosed to the host
- Leave malicious or retaliatory reviews unrelated to your actual experience
- Request refunds fraudulently or make false damage claims
5. Content Guidelines
All content you post on the platform (including listings, photos, reviews, and messages) must:
- Be relevant, appropriate, and accurate
- Not contain offensive, explicit, or inappropriate material
- Not violate any intellectual property rights
- Not contain personal contact information in public areas
- Not include external links or promotional content
- Be your original content or content you have permission to use
6. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy:
- Use the "Report" button within the platform when available
- Contact us immediately at meduard.krasniqi@yourspaces.io with details
- Provide as much information as possible, including screenshots or evidence
- Do not engage with the violator or attempt to resolve serious violations yourself
We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. We may request additional information from you during our investigation.
7. Enforcement and Consequences
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:
- Warning or notification of policy violation
- Removal of content or listings
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Withholding of payments or refunds
- Loss of host or guest status
- Legal action and reporting to law enforcement
- Collection of damages caused by your violations
The severity of consequences depends on the nature and frequency of violations. We reserve the right to take immediate action for serious violations without prior warning.
8. Appeals Process
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error:

- Provide your account details and explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect
- Include any supporting evidence or documentation
- We will review your appeal and respond within 7-10 business days
- Our decision on appeals is final
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
